Hunter builder Construct Central Coast has taken out the top accolade, winning HIA-CSR Australian Home of the Year at the 2018 HIA-CSR Australian Housing Kitchen & Bathroom Awards.
This year’s award winners were announced before a crowd of industry leaders and peers at the final night of the 2018 HIA National Conference in Singapore last Saturday.
Judges congratulated Construct Central Coast for their passion, superb workmanship and meticulous design of the award-winning home. White and light inside and out, the 2018 HIA-CSR Australian Home exudes space, comfort, and quiet luxury.
“The outstanding quality of workmanship contributes to a calm and welcoming feel throughout the home,” commented judges.
“A range of interesting materials and finishes combine to great effect, including drunken render, eucalypt lata sticks and tallow wood sourced specifically for the project.”
The HIA-CSR Awards is the ultimate platform to showcase the talents of the nation’s top builders and designers. Winners are selected from state-based finalists, with awards in 21 separate categories. The HIA-CSR Australian Home of the Year is the highest honour in the residential building industry.

The award-winning home was also awarded Australian Custom Built Home of the Year earlier in the evening.
